WellVentions is a program administered by ProsperRochester, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We are dedicated to working with our community partners to build youth-run social enterprises that serve as vital job training grounds and revenue sources to support our missions.

Jill Stolt

Jill Stolt

Creative Director

Jill Stolt, a self professed social entrepreneur and community builder, united over 80 Rochester entrepreneurs to market their businesses collaboratively, selling the artwork from their campaigns at retail to replenish their marketing budget. After developing award winning campaigns for Gannett Foundation, and Citibank, Ms. Stolt created edutainment and licensing programs for brands such as Mattel, Warner Brothers, Barnes & Noble, and Viacom. She successfully pioneered edutainment based social emotional learning initiatives with the YMCA to help children embrace anger management tools. Today, as President and Executive Director of ProsperRochester/WellVentions, Ms. Stolt continues to use edutainment to engage youth at-risk in social entrepreneurship.  Stolt earned her B.A. from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.

David Cowles

David Cowles is an award winning illustrator and animation director, who has worked for such magazines as Entertainment Weekly, The New Yorker, Rolling Stone,Vanity Fair, Fortune, and Time. He has created a pilot for Playhouse Disney and animated videos for Sesame Workshop, Frederator Studios and They Might Be Giants, among others.

He had the great pleasure of working on the website & social media campaign for Mask up Rochester. He's constantly experimenting about how creativity and brand can be reflected in design and development projects.

Armand Hall

Armand Hall is the executive and artistic director of the ROCmusic Collaborative. ROCmusic offers tuition-free, high-quality music instruction, instrument lessons, and leadership training to students in grades 1-12 who reside in the city of Rochester, NY.  No previous musical experience or training is required, and there is no charge for instruments, participation, or instruction! Dr. Hall came to ROCmusic from the University of Memphis, where he was Associate Director of Bands and Coordinator of Instrumental Music Education. Dr. Hall has taught, adjudicated, and been a clinician at the middle school and high school levels, in addition to collegiate teaching, and worked as a teaching artist in El Sistema-inspired community music programs around the country. He earned Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Michigan, and a Doctorate of Musical Arts in Wind Conducting from Michigan State University.

Lawrence Forte III is a serial entrepreneur, philanthropist, and educator who founded his first non-profit, focusing on youth mentorship, after the saddening loss of his father. Since then, he has launched and directed a plethora of small business and non-profit organizations, in hopes of fostering leadership and personal growth, in the lives of young people, and ultimately improving education through advanced and innovative technology. Suzannah Kasier is a fresh graduate of the RIT Film and Animation program with a focus in production and a minor in advertising and public relations. She can't wait to see what adventures are waiting for her beyond school. She loves storytelling and working with lots of different, incredible people. When she’s not editing, she can usually be found cooking or swing dancing.

Selena Ragland started her career as President of a job training team at WellVentions, Inc., facilitating the creation of new food products for the business. She continued her entrepreneurial journey when she spearheaded a campus food pantry program, helping to decrease the stigma around food insecurity at Fredonia State University, where Selena graduated with her BS in Biology.  She also studied abroad in Honduras, where she set up medical brigades for villages in need. Selena now works in community development for SEAC, a Neighborhood Preservation Company that facilitates community and economic development in southeast Rochester, and the Growing Out of Poverty initiative at School Without Walls.

Christian Repass, a professional illustrator and artist, has been on staff with Wellventions since 2018, where he became proficient in Social Media. During his time at Precision Signs & Labels, he worked on Print Media projects in the botany and machining industries. He continues to assist Wellventions in Conceptual Design, Illustration, and Social Media. Christian has an Associate's Degree from Genesee Community College in Applied Science in Digital Art.

Destina Amaya is a rising second year student at RIT. They are involved in many things within RIT, such as Art House, Sigma Psi Zeta, and also help to create podcasts with the Reporter. Outside of RIT, Destina works with KaleidoscopeMe (an edutainment company that helps to teach kids healthy lifestyles) to help boost their social media presence. Destina also enjoys many different forms of art and likes to do their best to be active in the community, and leave a positive impact.

Liza-Savage Katz

Liza (pronounced Leeza) Savage-Katz is the founder of a production company that are the creators of KaleidoscopeME™. Ms. Savage-Katz grew up in Rochester, New York, and graduated from RIT receiving a BFA in illustration and design and a graduate degree from SOIS in Venture Creation, Film and Animation, and Curriculum Development. After working in advertising in New York and London for many years, Liza took a year to travel around the world to study yoga and other modalities of healing and well being. In 2003, Ms. Savage-Katz moved to Los Angeles where she worked on several entrepreneurial endeavors in the field of health and fitness. Her students have ranged in age from 2 to 92 (literally). She has worked with professional athletes as well as children and adults with special needs and those recovering from addiction. Ms. Savage-Katz's intention is to support everyone that enters her life to realize their best selves.  Liza is also a professor in New Media, a business coach at RIT, and most importantly a Mom.

Jarod Lai is a third-year Packaging Science student at the Rochester Institute of Technology, but he produces electronic music and DJ under the name Cheesewedge. He started producing music back in 2014, but only works when he has free time, such as over Summer break. In his studies and interests, he’s always noticed a balanced presence of both sides of the brain, which he uses to his advantage whenever he can – whether it be an innovative design for a cereal box or figuring out objectively why acoustic instruments sound different from electric instruments. His goal is to be more of a Renaissance man, working towards mastery in a wide variety of skills.

Sasha Mekker is a senior at the Rochester Institute of Technology working towards a BFA in Graphic Design and minors in Journalism and Advertising/PR. She loves meeting new people, sharing knowledge and growing as a designer and a person. A lot of her work focuses on telling people’s stories and exposing the captivating narratives of their lives. Winfield Jones is a rising junior at Rochester Institute of Technology where he is studying Digital Humanities and Social Sciences. To keep busy, Win likes to create varyous content whether it be his podcast titled The Hideaway, photographing major events such as the recent protests in Chicago as a member of the NPPA, livestreaming on Twitch, or working as a production lead for local organizations.


When he is not working, Winfield enjoys spending time in the outdoors. Climbing, backpacking, camping, rafting, as an Eagle Scout, Win loves to explore.
